Accessibility
This site is built to WCAG 2.2 AA as its minimum standard. This page says what that means in practice and how to tell us when something falls short.
What is in place
- Each page has one main heading, landmarks and a skip link; headings follow a logical order.
- Each control works with a keyboard and shows a visible focus ring.
- Text sizes and colour pairs meet the contrast ratios for AA; nothing is conveyed by colour alone.
- Diagrams are built as text and structure, so a screen reader reads the same information a sighted reader sees.
- The health check uses standard form controls, announces progress, and works without JavaScript as a single form.
- Motion is limited to a short entrance on page load and is switched off when your system asks for reduced motion.
- Touch targets are at least 44 pixels.
