This page says what personal information this website collects, why, where it goes, and how to ask about it. It describes what the site does, in plain terms.
The enquiry form
If you send an enquiry through the contact page, the form asks for your name, your business name and your email address. A phone number, a topic and a message are optional. The form also records the page it was sent from and how long you took to fill it in, which is used to tell people from automated submissions.
This information is used to reply to you about your enquiry and to understand what you asked about. It is not used for marketing lists and is not sold.
The form is processed by Formspree, a form-handling service, which forwards each submission by email to info@vantrel.com.au. Formspree keeps a copy of submissions in its own system under its own privacy policy. Vantrel staff who answer enquiries receive the email.
If you email info@vantrel.com.au, Vantrel receives what you send in the ordinary way for email, and uses it to reply.
The technology health check
The health check runs in your browser. Your answers are kept on your own device while you work through it so you can go back a step, and they are cleared when the browser tab closes. They are not sent to Vantrel and are not stored by the site. If you print or save the result, the copy stays with you. There is no option to send the result to Vantrel.
Cookies, analytics and fonts
The site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and uses no analytics service. Clicks on some links and buttons are counted inside your browser only and are not transmitted anywhere.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles the web requests that load each page and may record standard request information, such as the address a request came from, in its own logs.
The site's typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google, which receives your IP address as part of that request.
Asking about your information
To ask what information Vantrel holds about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted, email info@vantrel.com.au.
